One River Wisdom School: Perennial Wisdom for the Spiritually Independent
One River Wisdom School offers a deep dive into our core teaching and path— the Perennial Wisdom at the mystic heart of the world’s religions, and the art of Being a Blessing—based on Rabbi Rami’s books Perennial Wisdom for the Spiritually Independent, and The Sacred Art of Lovingkindness.
Our Perennial Wisdom Retreat offers you a safe place in which to explore the spiritual life as we take up each of the five existential questions at the heart of the human search for meaning: Who Am I? Where Did I Come From? Where Am I Going (when I die)? How Shall I live? and Why?
Each Wisdom School – Perennial for the Spiritually Independent Retreat begins with six pre-recorded twenty-minute audio lessons followed by three two-hour live online Zoom sessions. The audio lessons are designed to prepare you for the retreat, and will be emailed to you, one each day, beginning the Sunday before the retreat begins. Each participant will also receive the Wisdom School – Perennial Wisdom Retreat Workbook.
We gather as a community of seekers via Zoom for two hours on Friday evening from 5:00PM – 7:00PM Central Time, and two hours on both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00AM – 12 Noon Central Time. Breaks and breakout sessions are built into the schedule. On-line sessions include text study, chanting, meditation, group discussion, and time for questions and answers
Registration for the Perennial Wisdom Retreat is $95.00. Each participant is expected to have their own copy of Perennial Wisdom for the Spiritually Independent, and The Sacred Art of Lovingkindness, which can be purchased from your favorite bookseller or through Amazon.com.
The Perennial Wisdom Retreat is one of two programs required of those seeking membership in The Grand Lodge of All Beings. The others being The Grand Lodge of All Beings Retreat and the Thirty–Six Lamed–Vav Lessons.
Minimum registration is 10 people. Registration is limited to 23 individual screens.
The retreat Zoom link and other detailed retreat information will be sent to all participants 10 days prior to the beginning of the retreat.
